Spartans Win Big Game,
November 24, 2003
Coming off a
tough loss to West Kildonan, the Spartans were in the hunt for another win
against Point des Chenes. The Spartans blew an early lead and were losing 3 - 2
with 5 minutes remaining. The Spartans scored two quick goals and held on to
the lead to win the game 4 - 3. Some great saves by Adam Jacobson helped the
Spartans out alot. Goals came from Cory Mymryk, Kyle McCartney, Lee Jacobson,
and Scott Black.
Next Spartan game is Thursday, against the Maples Maurauders, at Maples Arena.
Game time is 4: 30 PM.
Spartans Fall Flat,
November 21, 2003
The Spartans couldn't pull it off on
Friday, losing a tough game to the West Kildonan Wolverines. The Spartans
could not put the puck in the net, and took too many penalties. Spartans
record is now
6 - 2. Next Spartan game is
Monday in Ste. Annes against Point des Chenes.
