2003-2004! New Season, New Attitude! |

Spartans Steal Game #1
The Spartans
started the playoffs with a first round bye and met up with the Miles Mac
Buckeyes in the Quarterfinals of the 2004 playoffs. The Spartans started
off slow, allowing Miles Mac to jump up 2 - 0 in the first period. Cory
Mymryk responded with a goal later in the first period. Miles Mac quickly
scored again and were up 3 - 1 entering the third period. The Spartans
eventually relaxed and dominated Miles Mac in the third period. Ryan
Kontusic scored twice to tie the game at 3 - 3. Lee Jacobson then ripped a
shot past the Miles Mac goalie to give the Spartans a 4 - 3 lead, which they
eventually held on to, winning by the same score. A very strong game by
Adam Jacobson held the Spartans in the game.
The win was the
first win in 3 years for the Spartans in the playoffs.
